Monkeys live in Asia and Africa. There are many different types of monkeys in the world. Chimpanzees are the closest living things to humans. Chimpanzees are related to oranguatans and humans Chimpanze .The two species called Pan species, bonoba and common chimpanzees, split about one million years ago.

Orangutans are native to indonasia and Malaysia . Oranguatans are endangered at the moment. they are the only member of the Ponginae left.  Ponginaes split into two species and spread into asia from Africa 16-19 millions years ago. The Orangutans eat bark, insects and bird eggs. they are illegal to have as pets.  They are orange but have black faces , they are large and live in trees. I got this information from Wikipedia.

Gorillas lived in sub tropical rain forests in Africa. Some live in Virunda volcanos. Others live n Rwanda. There are 2 gorilla species and four sub species. Two species of gorilla are the Eastern and the Western Gorillas. The Eatern Gorrila is the biggest Primate in the world. The western gorilla looks very similar to the Eastern Gorillas but aren't as big.
